Geranium
All posts:

Geranium is a genus of 422 species of flowering annual, biennial, and perennial plants. It is found mostly in the eastern part of the Mediterranean region.

I most like to see the Geranium in Greece. A combination of red, pink and violet Geranium with stones or the white plaster of a house creates a beautiful picture.

At my home in the Netherlands I can plant Geranium in April and enjoy my little garden flowering in pots until September.

After years of growing plenty of flowers in my little garden, I decided to stick with just one simple plant – Geranium.

Geranium has a wide and diverse range of colors that appear to always smile at you. It is never spoiled, blooms [almost] all year, is not easily infected with fungi, does not require lots of water, and does well in a pot of nearly any size as well as in the garden’s soil. It lives peacefully everywhere.

If you make some extra effort to feed and fertilize this plant, you get many thanks in the form of a wonderful blooming flower.

For these characteristics, I chose Geranium to be the logo of my little enterprise. Also, with the hope that the human community would resemble the character of the Geranium a little more
